Dushanbe, December 2. - As the theatre administration informs, all creative efforts of the troupe are directed at staging children's performances. This season, premieres are not expected, but all best children's performances from the previous theatre’s repertoire, including many of those which has become traditional New Year's events, will be renewed.
On the eve of New Year and during New Year vacations the theatre offers spectators the Pre-New Year programme: a charming fairy tale on an indispensable celebration of good and light - «The Crystal Shoe».
For small spectators the theatrical company has prepared scenes from a musical fairy tale «Cat’s House”, based on S. Marshak's play for children, which will remind of true friendship, sincerity and mutual support in a difficult minute.
The ballets "Buratino" and "Kid and Carlson", full of transformations and special stage effects, will remind of how a child should not cease to believe trust in miracles, especially minutes of a holiday.
The Opera and Ballet Theatre – is one of few theatres, whose New Year's repertoire abounds with children's performances. «The Goat-curly-legs», «Cat’s House”, «The Magic Pipe», «The Wood’s Fairy Tale» are the best gifts for children, making them think of questions of good and evil.
Besides fairy tales, the theatre prepares a New Year representation for children. In the roles of the Snow Maidens and Fathers Frost the honoured artists of republic performing difficult parts from drama arias and solo will act.
