Ceremony of accepting the credentials of newly appointed ambassadors of foreign countries.

On February 19, at the Palace of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, received credentials from newly appointed ambassadors of a number of foreign countries.

During the ceremony, Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia Gevorgyan Armen Vachikovich, Bosnia and Herzegovina Niyaz Chardakliya, Malaysia Ilham Tua bin Illias, Kingdom of Spain Luis Francisco Martinez Montes, State of Israel Gideon Lustig, Republic of Slovenia Mrs. Alenka Suhadolnik, Czech Republic Lyubomir Frebort and Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia Jamal Bakir Abdullah presented their credentials to the President of the country, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, with messages and greetings from the leadership of their countries.

In his speech, the Head of State, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, congratulated the new ambassadors on the beginning of their diplomatic activity in this responsible position in the Republic of Tajikistan.

It was emphasized that Tajikistan, relying on its Foreign Policy Concept, is making continuous efforts to comprehensively develop and strengthen friendly relations and beneficial cooperation with countries in different regions of the world.

President Emomali Rahmon deliberated on the development and strengthening of friendly relations and multifaceted beneficial cooperation between Tajikistan and the Republic of Armenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Malaysia, the Kingdom of Spain, the State of Israel, the Republic of Slovenia, the Czech Republic and the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia.

Addressing the newly appointed ambassadors, the Head of State, Emomali Rahmon, said: – “It gives us joy that your countries are today among the true friends and partners of Tajikistan, and we attach increasing importance to the expansion of good relations with them.”

It was said that Tajikistan, in general, optimistically views the prospects for its interstate relations with the countries of newly appointed ambassadors and considers their further strengthening and promotion important.

The Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, considered the expansion of mutual understanding, solidarity, mutual support, and effective cooperation between countries to be among the main common tasks of the states.

The Head of State stated that the Tajik side is ready to effectively use all existing opportunities and capabilities, as well as bilateral and multilateral means and tools.

In conclusion, the Head of State, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, wished the new ambassadors success and conveyed warm greetings and messages to the heads of their states.
